Technological progress is
integrating into our lives very quickly, and Computer Studies and IT at the
Academia Britanica Cuscatleca open the doors towards a world full of
new expectations, in which everything is possible in terms of organization,
control and development.
The school offers IB Computer
Science and Information Technology for a Global Society (ITGS) for 11 and
12 students. The Computer Science standard level (SL) programme focuses on
software development, fundamentals of computer systems and the
relationship between computing systems and society. The higher level (HL)
programme encompasses all these but is extended to include: Computer
mathematics and logic; advanced data structures; objects and their use in
problem solutions; further system fundamentals; the system life cycle and
file organization. Students in both levels acquire mastery of a high-level
programming language.
